Improvement of the Structure and Processing of Sealing Plate Casting by Solidification Simulation

ProCAST code was introduced to simulate the filling and solidification process of the sealing plate of the tank of the water heater.Based on the simulation results,some corresponding measures,like changing casting structure and processing,were taken for the more reasonable processing property.The defects such as shrinkage and cavity of the casting were reduced obviously and the results show that the quality and reliability of the product were improved.
