Research Status and Evolution of Composite Steel Plate Shear Wall

The CSPSW structure system is classified into two types according to construction methods and discussed from construction measures,failure modes,force mechanism and interaction between infill steel plate and surrounding steel frame under categorization.Existing results indicate that buckling-restrained steel plate shear wall is suitable to be employed in high-intensity areas due to its outstanding earthquake resistant behavior.Theoretical and experimental tests on composite steel plate shear walls from domestic and overseas are summarized and the research status of CSPSW is evaluated.Finally,the future research direction is presented according to current research deficiency proposed.
