Thermodynamic Studies on Ternary Mixed III‐V Systems

KRUPKOWSKI's formalism of excess free enthalpy has been applied to the ternary systems Pb-In-Sb and Ga-In-As. The necessary binary KRUPKOWSKI parameters has been obtained from binary liquidus data or EMF measurements. The results of calculation are compared with experimental liquidus, solidus and vapour pressure data. Der KRUPKOWSKI-Formalismus fur die mittlere molare freie Zusatzenthalpie wurde auf die ternaren Systeme Pb-In-Sb und Ga-In-As angewendet. Die benotigten binaren KRUPKOWSKI-Parameter der Randsysteme wurden aus Liquidusdaten bzw. Spannungsmessungen an geeigneten galvanischen Zellen berechnet. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse werden mit experimentellen Liquidus-, Solidus- und Dampfdruckdaten verglichen.
