Interactive UserInterface forVisual Inspection System

Fullautomation featured many problems, suchasthedifficulty ofproduction changes, etc. Eventually, cell production, ahumanbasedproduction system, wasintroduced in the1990's. Thecell production system, however, features similar problems. Beginning in2000, advanced cell production systems havebeenpursued, whereby production isaccomplished through theharmonization ofhumanoperators andautomatic machines. Theaimofthisstudyistotaketheknow-howthatinspectors haveunconsciously acquired onadaily basis and, transition the inspectors themselves toautomated systems. Toachieve this aim we established ROImacrocommandsanddeveloped theROI macro command system.About80% of requests from manufacturing sites werefulfilled byusing those 8types ofROI macrocommands. Moreover, 488sites useditonanactual basis. Asa result, wehaveconcluded thattheinspectors' know-how waspassed ontoexternal configuration inspections acrossa wide-range offields.
