Apparatus for exciting the bridge cable

A cable exciter for a bridge for applying vibration to a cable to analyze dynamic characteristics of a cable installed to a bridge comprises a main body(10) coupled and fixed to a cable(100), a motor(20) fixed to a C-shaped frame(11) of a load member, a pair of load members(30) installed to the main body to make a rectilinear reciprocation motion to apply force to the cable, thereby to vibrate the cable, a power transmission device(40) composed of a rotary plate(41) and a rod(42) to guide the load members make a rectilinear reciprocation motion using torque of the motor, and a wireless measuring device(50) measuring displacement of the cable with time and transmitting the amplitude of the cable by wireless communications.
