Traumatic Hemothorax: Analysis of 282 Patients

Bulgular: Motorlu taşıt kazaları en önemli hemotoraks nedeniydi (168 olgu, %59.5). 58 olguda (%20.5) delici-kesici alet yaralanması, 32 olguda da (%11.3) ateşli silah yaralanması olgusuna rastlandı. 165 olguda (%58.5) tüp torakostomi ile etkin ve yeterli tedavi sağlandı. On beş yaş altı olgu sayısı 22 (%7.8) idi. Acil torakotomi 35 (%12.4) olguya uygulandı. Olguların ortalama hastanede kalış süresi 8.3 gün oldu. Dokuz olguda (%3.1) mortalite, 43 olguda (%15.2) morbidite gelişti.
