X선 형광분석기용 최대값 검출 알고리즘 설계 및 구현

Trapezoidal pulse shaping algorithms can be used for digital multi-channel pulse height analysis in x-ray spectrometer system. In this paper, based on trapezoidal pulse shaping, we present a peak detection algorithm for the input waveform in the shape of exponential pulses used in x-ray fluorescence (XRF) systems. Compared with the existing peak detection algorithm, it is shown the proposed algorithm is more efficient and accurate. The proposed algorithm is designed using Verilog HDL and implemented using an FPGA board.
