6. Collaboration and cooperation in learning are two different approaches to group work. a. Collaborative groups share responsibility for learning and the goal is to have all members of the group understand the full problem and its solution. Students come to group meetings having worked individually on the assignment and willing to share understandings. b. Cooperative groups divide the processes of a task and come together to produce a final product.
