An Integrated Hesitant Fuzzy Approach to a Job Evaluation and Application in a Food Company

Job evaluation is to compare the existing works in the organization and to investigate the relations between each other. Also job evaluation is a technique that helps determine the relative importance of all work in an enterprise to establish the basis for determining wages and other rights. The value-added of each job in the company is determined separately from other jobs through job analysis and evaluation. The relative order of this value is then found. For the first time in this study, an integrated hesitant fuzzy multi-criteria decision making method is recommended for job evaluation in a food company. In the proposed approach, the importance weights of the eight employee evaluation criteria were determined by the Hesitant Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (HF-AHP). The importance order of the positions in the workplace is done by using the Fuzzy COmplex PRoportional ASsessment (F-COPRAS) method. In this approach, expert opinions used in job evaluation were firstly quantified by HF-AHP and F-COPRAS methods.
