On the Efficiency and Accuracy of Regularization Technique for Modeling Current Sources in Structured Grids

Current sources in a cavity are widely seen in multilayer printed circuit boards. Modeling these current sources in structured grids is a challenging problem in computational electromagnetics. This paper investigates the accuracy and efficiency of the regularization technique for the modeling of current sources in structured grids. The cavity Green's function is taken as the benchmark. The efficiency and accuracy of the regularization technique are compared against the cavity Green's function method.
