A Newton-Raphson scheme for the analysis of ferroresonant circuits

A Newton-Raphson scheme for the analysis of ferroresonant circuits is presented in this paper. The technique is rapidly convergent and it can be used to determine turning points, bifurcation points and bifurcating solution branches. The ferroresonance characteristic of a typical circuit has been described.
