Introduction and development of Resilient Packet Ring(RPR) technology

RPR is a new protocol for optimizing transmission of IP data and building optical network.Nowadays the standardization job is done by IEEE 802.17 group.The paper introduces the characters of RPR and analyses the key techniques of RPR.
