On the Mitigation of Doppler Shift for High-Capacity Coherent FSO Satellite-to-Earth Links

We experimentally assess the impact of the Doppler shift effect on coherent FSO satellite-to-earth links. Employing probabilistic shaping modulation with adaptive symbol-rate, we demonstrate a significant reliability enhancement for a 600G transmission scenario.
