The effect of adjacent cell interference, power control and error correction on a CDMA cellular system

The performance of a CDMA cellular radio system can be improved by employing power control and error correction. This paper discusses the effects of adjacent accent cell interference, power control and error correction on the performance of the base-to-mobile link of a multiple- cell CDMA cellular radio system. The performance measures considered in this analysis are the average bit-error-rate (BER) and the service reliability.
