Research of SOC estimation for lithium-ion battery of electric vehicle based on AMEsim-simulink co-simulation

This paper describes the application of state-estimation techniques for real-time prediction of the SOC of lithium-ion battery. We use the 12 Ah high power lithium battery as the plant. For the SOC cannot be measured directly, we build an equivalent circuit model of the battery and use AMEsim-simulink to estimate the SOC of lithium battery. The simulation and analysis results show that the control strategy designed in this paper could estimate SOC accurately which could provide theoretical basis for experiments in real vehicle in the future.
