Abstract Sensitivity detection of oxygen at high temperature is reported using a simple spectrometer based on a DFB-laser. Measurements for the R R( N = 7) and the R R( N = 9) magnetic dipole transitions of the b 1 Σ g + ( v ′ = 0) ← X 3 Σ g − ( v ″ = 0) band at 761 nm were performed from a few Torr to atmospheric pressure and for different temperatures up to 400°C. Self-broadening and N 2 -broadening coefficients were extracted, and their dependence on the temperature was investigated.
