The design of a preprocess module for the distributed process of the ECG signal

The design of a preprocessing module and software algorithm for the distributed process of automated ECG diagnosis based on a one-chip microcomputer is presented. In the distributed processing system the main CPU deals only with diagnosis, using previous detected parameters in other CPUs. The hardware of the preprocessing module comprises a 12-bit A/D (analog-to-digital) converter, 8031 one-chip microcomputer, QRS detector, real-time clock, and bus control.<<ETX>>
