중국인을 위한 한국어 문법 교재 분석 -교재의 구성과 기술을 중심으로-

This paper aims to analyze the structure and statement of Korean grammar textbooks published in China. Recently, there has been a marked increase in Chinese learners of Korean. Furthermore, 70% of international students in Korea are Chinese students, and 76% of applications for TOPIK internationally originated in China as of 2009. For this reason, the availability of Korean language textbooks for Chinese learners has been rapidly increasing. In this study, seven categories of Korean grammar textbook are analyzed from the viewpoint of structure and statement. These were further divided into 2 categories; grammatical category and grammatical item. The textbooks are investigated using four measures; structure, statements of usage, statements of examples; and form of exercises. Based on the analysis, potential drawbacks of Korean grammar textbooks published in China are discussed and direction for improvement is suggested.
