Countries aiming to transform their Governments require a more sophisticated e-government model -- one that links the citizens, businesses, organizations and other government entities in a seamless network of assets, capabilities, resources and infrastructure. This is the essence of Connected Government.
Singapore has consistently demonstrated its ability to design, develop and adopt e-government of the highest standards. This is an outcome of visionary leadership, clear objectives, sound execution mechanisms and use of leading edge technologies. The Government Enterprise Architecture has played a pivotal role in shifting Singapore from e-government to connected government. This paper presents the key highlights of this journey.
