A study of supercavitating vehicles with unconstant cavitation number based on LPV

A Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) model of supercavitating vehicles is established to account for the effects of uncertain cavitation numbers on the stabilities, and the LPV model is based on the nolinear longitudial model by Jacobian linearisation method. Then, a gain scheduled state-feedback controller is designed to guarantee the stability of the supercavitating vehicles with uncertain cavitation numbers in declarative range, with the linear matrix inequality(LMI) technique and parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions theory for control design of affine parameter-dependent systems proposed. And it is proved that the controlled supercavitating vehicles are stable in nomial. Then, corresponding simulations are carried out to demonstrate the efficiency of the designed controller.
