Design of Small Mobile Robot Based on Multiprocessor

This paper presents the design of a small mobile robot used in the wireless sensor networks, raises a multilevel control system based on multiprocessor, the master control system based on the PIC8620 and the slave control system base on the Atmega8, and expounds the design and implementation of hardware and software. And the robot has good motion performance, location perfor-mance, autonomous obstacle avoidance capabilities and stability, applied not only to robot research in wireless sensor network envi-ronment, but also to robot match, robot education and other fields.
