Instrumentation and Controls for Automated Plant Juice Protein Concentrate Production

ABSTRACT THE laboratory procedure to produce high protein low fiber concentrate from green plant juice has been adapted to an individual farm size operation. To reduce labor requirements of the operation to a mini-mum an automatic control system has been developed. The system maintains precise control of coagulation temperature, accommodates varying processing rates and compensates for intermittent complete shut down and restarting of the processing operation.
