Satisfactory Prediction of Performance of Total Quality Management Critical Techniques

This paper aims to determine the performance of nine Total Quality Management Critical Techniques (TQM CTs) in automotive industry. In order to achieve this purpose, six significant criteria for predicting the satisfactory of TQM CTs have been proposed. This study has been carried out at Malaysia Automotive Manufacturing Industry by the quality experts’ judgments. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) has been employed that is a Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methodology. The results show the priority of TQM CTs based on their satisfactory grade. Also a sensitivity analysis is conducted to indicate the realistic of its final outcome. Finally an AHP model as a decision-making model is recommended with .03 overall inconsistency to aware the management to promote the usage of the TQM CTs efficiently and effectively.
