Analysis of Port Withdrawal Mechanism in China

Port withdrawal,the same as port construction,is the inevitable outcome of national economy,which is extremely important to the sustainable development of city.The necessity of port withdrawal mechanism is first explained in the paper,and on the basis of discussing withdrawal patterns of some ports in the world,six operation modes of port withdrawal mechanism suitable for Chinese ports are summarized,namely housing habitation mode,business office mode,culture entertainment mode,traffic-integration mode,environment-protection mode and municipal infrastructures-synthesis mode.Finally the coordination development degree is used as the implementation basis of port withdrawal mechanism,in order to provide a new idea for realizing the sustainable development of ports in China.
