Routing problem of transfer crane at container terminals

The routing of the transfer crane during loading operation of export containers at container terminals is discussed so as to minimize the routing time of the transfer crane and improve the efficiency of container terminals. Then a mixed integer program is presented with the objective to minimize the total traveling time of the transfer crane in the yard and the model is proved efficient by a numerical example solved by lingo 8.0.
