Proceedings of the 2004 Eurographics/ACM SIGGRAPH symposium on Geometry processing

The Second Symposium on Geometry Processing continues the series started last year in Aachen. The increase in the number of submissions (18%) shows that the interest in the area continues to grow. The number of accepted papers has remained the same; only 29% of the submitted papers were accepted this year. Several changes were introduced to the review process in 2004. Practically all papers were reviewed by four reviewers. Once the reviews were completed, the committee members were able to access all other reviews and discuss acceptance and rejection recommendations. In a few cases, these through discussions resulted in signifi cant changes in the decisions.
