Apparatus and method for display

A display apparatus and a method thereof are disclosed. The display apparatus according to the present invention includes: a display unit; a storage unit which stores a pre-downloaded application; an input unit which receives on-timer information for automatically performing the application; and a control unit which automatically performs the application based on the on-timer information and controls the display unit in order to display an application execution screen. Thereby the display apparatus is able to automatically execute at least one application among multiple pre-stored applications at a time point which a user requests.
