타이어 인벨로핑 특성과 차량 승차감의 상관도 분석

Ride and handling performances have become main issues to define the quality of vehicle in the automotive industry, so car and tire makers are trying to enhance ride and handling performances. In this paper, indoor test method for ride comfort evaluation carried out. So, we analyzed envelope characteristics for various load condition at the wheel center when go over bump on the drum surface. It is known that the enveloping property of the tire is dependent on vertical stiffness. So, we carried out indoor test in the static and dynamic state. Outdoor vehicle test was driven at 60㎞/h, 80 ㎞/h over rough & bump road. the triaxial accelerometer was mounted on the knuckle, floor, seat surface to measure vertical, longitudinal accelerations.
