Improvement of microstrip antenna performance using two triangular structures

To improve the performance of microstrip antennas, the use of triangular configurations in analysis and design is proposed. Moreover, a full-wave spatial-domain technique together with the closed-form Green's function has been employed to obtain the S-parameters of microstrip antennas. Numerical results are obtained and a very good agreement with published results is observed. The double-triangular patch antenna is discussed in detail, and some valuable results are acquired.
