According to the stereo garage as well as the operation method and the application of the stereo garage, the translation mechanism, the lifting mechanism and an intelligent distribution mechanism are simultaneously adopted to work in a manner of division of work, vehicles are deposited and withdrawn in multiple channels, and each channel is a bidirectional channel, so that the efficiencies of depositing and withdrawing of the vehicles are greatly improved; and meanwhile, a fault standby management mechanism of a vehicle conveyer is adopted to ensure that no fault blind spot exits in the operation process of the stereo garage, the stereo garage is operated all day long in real time, and public requirements on high-efficient depositing and withdrawing of the vehicle are met.
