PEFP 100 MeV Drift Tube의 열 및 유동 특성에 관한 연구

The Resonance Control Cooling System (RCCS) was designed and fabricated by Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL) for the 20 MeV proton Drift Tube Linac (DTL) of the Proton Engineering Frontier Project (PEFP). Design of the RCCS pumping skid depend on the characteristic of Drift Tube (DT) in the DTL Tank. The 100 MeV DT is different from configuration of the 20 MeV DT. The 100 MeV DT contains an Electro Quadrupole Magnet (EQM) which is made of a hollow conductor. We have to confirm the property of thermal and hydraulics with size and configuration of the EQM because that is important parameter to design the RCCS of 100 MeV DTL. This paper discussed the result of fluid dynamics model, test by the DT tester, study on the thermal property and finally design of the RCCS pumping skid for the 100 MeV DTL.
