Remarks on the solutions of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation

Abstract Matrix equations associated with the KP equation are considered and a kind of special solutions of them are found. The asymptotical behavior of the solutions along any direction is discussed and a sufficient condition for a solution vanishing along this direction is provided. Interaction between solutions of two different types can be represented by the solution.
