Design and Implement of Information Collecting Module Embedded in a Real-vehicle Experimental System for Driving Behavior Study

Implementing a driving behavior test or experiment by a real-vehicle is one of effective approaches for the collection of driving behavior information in road traffic research.In this paper,demand of driving behavior information types collected by real-vehicle experimental system is analyzed,and the structure of information collecting module embedded in experimental system is constructed.Design methods and key technologies on hardware,data transport protocols and data management software of the module are presented successively with instance.Finally,three types of driving behavior information such as stepping clutch pedal,throttle and vehicle speed variation are calibrated in accordance with the characters of information collected by the real-vehicle experimental system.The achieved information collecting module can be applied as the test platform for study of driving behavior,and experimental data analysis can also be carried out on it.
