Fault Diagnosis and Fault Classification of Rotating Machinery Based on Entropy Strip Method

Methods which were used in the fault diagnosis of rotor system often is qualitative.And the effectively quantitative method of fault diagnosis for rotor system is less.In order to solve the mentioned problem,information entropy is introduced into fault diagnosis domain.Entropy strip method is brought forward and the representative fault of rotor system is simulated for trying it out on the rotor test-bed.The results show that entropy strip method can distinguish mostly different fault of rotor system based on the signal of rotor system.
