everincreased needs foranimproved product quality, production efficiency, and costintoday's globalized worldmarket, advanced process control should notonly realize theaccuracy ofeachcontrol loops, butalso hastheability toachieve anoptimization control ofglobal production indices that areclosely related totheimproved product quality, enhanced production efficiency andreduced consumption. As a result, the optimal control fortheglobal production indices hasattracted anincreased attention of various process industries. Theoptimal control oftheglobal production indices requires anoptimal combination oftheproduction indices, technical indices andtheoperation of eachcontrol loops. Inthis paper, ahybrid intelligent control strategy isproposed for process industries. Thisnew strategy consists ofthree control layers, namely the intelligent optimization oftheglobal production indices, theintelligent optimal control of thetechnical indices andtheintelligent process control,.
