This paper explores the significance and present situation of open education for laboratory in engineering education, describes the effect of bilingual teaching during the education reform in modern society, discusses the feasibility of the combination of bilingual teaching and open education for laboratory in engineering education, as well as the significance of the combination and the impact on education reform.
