The view signal and image processing system

VIEW is a system for processing arbitrary multi-dimensional signals. It provides facilities for numerical operations, signal displays, and signal databasing. The major emphasis of the system is on the processing of time-sequences and two-dimensional images. The system is designed to be both portable and extensible. It currently runs on both VAX/VMS systems and SUN workstations. This document provides an introduction to VIEW through an example session and gives overviews ofthe VIEW signal databae and user environment. Summaries of each command are given with a functional and alpabetical index for easy reference.
