Message from the HCW Program Committee Chair

Welcome to the 25th International Heterogeneity in Computing Workshop in Chicago, U.S.A.! For a quarter century, the community of HCW has studied diligently heterogeneous computing and look at where we are today! Most machines today from cell phones to supercomputers are heterogeneous systems. Maybe 25 years down the road, we will organize workshops on homogeneous computing because that will be the exception.
