Integrating Grid Services for Enterprise Applications

Integrating heterogeneous systems in the “plug and play” way is a goal of distributed computing researchers. In this paper, we propose a general platform to integrate Grid services for enterprise applications, and present implementation mechanisms of its core components. The platform can handle transaction, workflow and security to satisfy enterprise application requirements. Moreover, the platform is fully built on open standards so that it has some good properties such as scalability, adaptability and portability.
