Design and Implementation of small monitoring wireless network system based on LoRa

In this paper, we focus on the realization of a small environmental monitoring wireless ad hoc network sensor system based on LoRa(Long Range) which provides a real-time low-cost long-distance monitoring system. The system utilizes the Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 as both gateway and nodes. It adopts ESP32 chip as MCU which has a high level of low-power performance in the industry. The system integrates both LoRa module(SX1278) and WiFi module, which make the system combine the long-distance transmission and low power consumption of LoRa communication with the support of TCP/IP network communication. Our system can provide a user-friendly front end that is convenient for users real-time monitoring of the system. We use a unique set of self-organizing network protocols to meet the requirements of daily monitoring and emergency warning.
