A portable and high-precision magnetic testing system for optical fiber gyroes with low power consumption is designed and introduced. The magnetic sensitive detector contains a temperature sensor and six hyper sensitized Hall elements that are inlaid into six surfaces of a cube. The Hall elements and temperature sensor turns the magnetic intensity into electrical voltage. After signal conditioning, the analog value is transmitted into digital signal by high-precision analog-digital converter. After demarcated and temperature compensated in FPGA, the transmitted signal will be displayed on the LCD instantly and sent to PC by USB. Via the designed system, a precise survey of magnitude and direction of the magnetic field can be more effectively done. Moreover, direction of the detector can be freely deposited without adjustment.
