HAZUS 자료를 이용한 국내 건축물의 취약도 분석

A methodology for seismic performance assessment of buildings has been developed using fragility analysis. HAZUS is an evolving methodology that provides earthquake loss estimation for many built-in specific building types. This study reviewed the methodology of HAZUS if HAZUS compatible assessment system can be developed in Korea. It involves the classification of building structures, study of inelastic structural behavior of Korean building structures in comparison with those of HAZUS structures, and how to determine performance quality of existing structures considering construction quality, age, and building codes used. Korea Building Code was used to represent structural behavior of Korean building structures. This study shows that it is reasonable to adopt the overall methodology of HAZUS. However, it still requires of a lot of modification in detail according to the situation of Korea toward the development of HAZUS compatible assessment system in Korea.
