The method includes the steps of acquiring a task link which is clicked by a user on a first network platform and sent by the first network platform, wherein the task link corresponds to a preset task on a second network platform, and skipping to a web page where the preset task on the second network platform is located according to the task link, so that the user can execute the preset task on the second network platform in the web page. The server comprises a first acquiring module and a skipping module. According to the interaction method and the server, interaction between the user and multiple network platforms is achieved by skipping to the corresponding web page of the preset task on the second network platform according to the task link clicked by the user on the first network platform, and interaction modes of the user and the network platforms are extended.
