Method, device and system for converting live stream of video into on-demand data

Embodiments of the invention disclose a method, a device and a system for converting live stream of a video into on-demand data, belonging to the technical field of computer. The method comprises the following steps: a terminal sends a video acquisition request for a target video to a server; the server acquires the video data of the target video in the live stream of the target video according to the video acquisition request, and stores the video data; the terminal sends a video editing request for the target video to the server; the server edits the video data of the target video in a nonlinear mode according to the video editing request; and the server stores the video data after editing as the on-demand data of the target video. By adopting the method, the device and the system of the invention, the efficiency of conversion from live stream of a video to on-demand data can be improved.
