ITEM: an Integrated Transport Economy Modelling System A Summary Description of the OPERATION ORIGIN-DESTINATION Research Project Design

awarded by the Cooperative R&D Grant (CRD) program of the National Science and Engineering Council (NSERC/CRSNG) of Canada in partnership with the Railway Association of Canada (RAC/ACFC), financed over the period 1999-2001, with complementary support from Transports Québec in 2000-2001 and, during a part of 2000, from Transport Canada. The software modules necessary to support the implementation of ITEM components are regrouped under the name IMPETUS.
