This is an important book. Its collection of excellent chapters addresses theories of learning, collaborative learning, and computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL) that reflect current thinking and research. It is also a precious resource for those with an interest in how the online medium is affecting the evolution of language. Elsebeth Korsgaard Sorensen’s contribution is especially valuable on this topic.
