Complexity Analysis of FBMC/OQAM Transceiver using SRRC Polyphase Filter

Nowadays, Filter Bank Multicarrier with used Offset Modulation system which known as FBMC/OQAM has been studying by many researchers at the different universities to support the requirement of the next wireless communication system which known as a fifth generation (5G) system. Moreover, FBMC/OQAM system used to provides a high data rate to the user with high bandwidth efficiency, and low impulse noise. In this paper, we design FBMC/OQAM transceiver based on the SRRC prototype filter, and then the performances of transceiver are evaluated. Moreover, our analytical model is further extended in order to analyse the complexity design of the FBMC / OQAM transceiver with used filters.
