Performance comparison of simulators for cellular mobile networks

Abstract Two cellular mobile network simulators, namely the Ring Simulator and Toroidal Simulator, have been proposed in the literature to eliminate the so-called “edge effect.” This paper compares results produced by both simulators from the qualitative and quantitative point of view.
