원주공동확장이론을 이용한 억지말뚝에 작용하는 측방토압의 산정

In case of occurring the sliding at slope soils in a row of piles, the crown failure at an external arch zone of the soil arching is firstly developed, and the cap failure at a wedge zone in front of the piles is lastly developed. The earth pressure at the cap failure is propose by Ito & Matsui(1975), while the earth pressure at the crown failure is not proposed until now. In this study. a theoretical equation of the earth pressure at the crown failure can be proposed using cylindrical cavity expansion theory. The theoretical equation of crown failure is mainly affected by two factors. One is related to soil properties such as internal friction angle, cohesion and horizontal pressure, and the other is related to pile factors such as diameter, installation interval. It knows that the earth pressure at the crown failure is smaller than that at the cap failure in the same installation interval of piles.
