Towards an Ontology Mapping Specification Language for the Semantic Web

This paper addresses the requirements for an Ontology Mapping Speciflcation Language for the Semantic Web. We present a set of generic technical use cases and a number of application scenarios, which are used as a basis for a list of requirements for such a mapping language. Furthermore, we discuss further steps to be taken towards a useful language fulfllling the requirements we identify in terms of ∞exibility and expressiveness.
